About me

Heya there, mate. I'm CommandoBryxe, I'm some alien gamer who plays on my gaming laptop full-time. I usually play singleplayer indie games and also trying out different genres since I don't really have interest in most AAA games or big multiplayer games. Also, I enjoy making art by using a simplistic art program called MSPaint. So... I only make some art on the Art page when I have a cool idea or maybe something to reflect my feelings. Possibly, a theraupetic tool. Speaking about MSPaint, I like it a lot since it's very easy to use and also fun to make some retro art you'd see in the late 90s or early 2000's. Currently, I use Ultramarine GNU/Linux as my main operating system. I'm currently playing around with my computer as we speak. Doing some power user stuff and using terminal based applications during my power user mood. Also, I'm practising and learning about the C and Rust programming language since I'd like to build up some programming skills in making small and minimal programming projects. I also created a Github account a few days ago and I'm thinking of contributing the free and open-source projects thatI like and also build up in my programming skills.

How did I find NeoCities?

Well, I've been web surfing around the internet but not the old school way. I also felt quite uninterested on some social media platforms since they don't have anything quite interesting to me. During those times, I've played a cool game called Hypnospace Outlaw which actually reflects old web design and I was very interested by the way every website looks distinctive from each other in Hypnospace Outlaw. I was watching my favourite YouTuber (Mako Rays) who was going to explore a website called NeoCities and it caught my attention. I searched up NeoCities on Google and then. Ta-da! There it is, Neocities, a sequel to GeoCities. I was fascinated by surfing around different websites and it's just like to good ol' days. Although, I grew up in the 2000s when I had Windows XP, NewGrounds and Flash games at that time which is still really cool. But, it felt like something that I've been waiting my whole life! Right now, I've started on making a website to express myself.
